It seems that Playmore ditched the title "Metal Slug Evolution" and decided to just stick with "Metal Slug", after seeing how the word "Evolution" is missing in the logo.

NEOWAVE over at Atomiswave.org has posted a video nearly 24-minutes long featuring missions 1 through 3 in Metal Slug 6.

The release date is set for June 29th, 2006, unless SNKP delays the damned thing again.

The most interesting feature of the game is that you can build your own custom Super Vehicles by collecting parts and materiels.

DorianRust has informed me of his fanwork movie, named the "Metal Slug Begins", which is a 16-minute film showing the beginning of the Metal Slug plot, albeit with some modifications. And it's pretty nice, too.
