The Art of Gaming is a new online gaming magazine that focuses on both the developer concept artworks and fan-drawn artworks.

Believe it or not, the game that they will be featuring for their first issue is Metal Slug. It will be released in mid-June.



GameSide.org wants your Metal Slug art and screenshots for their first online magazine issue of The Art of Gaming, in which they'll be profiling the Metal Slug series. Even if you're not artistic, Metal Slug fans can still contribute by submitting their comments about the art in Metal Slug and may have their submission appear in the issue!

Basically, all you need to do is to submit any of your fan-artworks or screenshots related to Metal Slug to the editor of the magazine. However, pictures that are not suitable for anyone below 13-years of age will not be accepted.

All submissions can be e-mailed to media@gameside.org. There can only be one submission per person, and the e-mail attachment must be under 2MB in size.

When sending the e-mail with your artworks attached to it, please mention the following in your message body;

- NAME: This can be your fullname, nickname, artist name, whatever you choose.
- LOCATION: City, State, Country
- TITLE: Title or caption for your submission
- AGE (optional)
- WEBSITE (optional)

Please note that not all submissions will be put up on the finished issue, but they will be placed in the AOG gallery for viewing.

A specific section has been created for putting up facts and rumors of what will and will not be included in the upcoming Metal Slug games, which you can visit it by clicking here.

And for those of you who are confused, the woman in the picture above is one of the two new Combat Instructors that you will be seeing in the Combat School mode of Metal Slug 6 for PS2.

The secret section of The King of Fighters: Maximum Impact 2 homepage has been updated with Fio's profile, which also happens to contain videos of her combos.

The Metal Slug 3D official site has been updated with additional pages in the characters section, which now includes profiles of Eri and Fio. It also has a trailer available for download, which is in a slightly better quality than the one put up on here before.
