Ignition Entertainment, the main publishing and distributing firm of SNK Playmore's franchises within European Union, has made a press release about teaming up with Atari to distribute several of upcoming SNK Playmore's titles in the European region.

Among the titles from SNKP include;

Metal Slug Anthology (PSP)
King of Fighters Neowave (PS2)
King of Fighters Maximum Impct 2 (PS2)
Neo Geo Battle Coliseum (PS2)
Samurai Showdown 6 (PS2)
King of Fighters XI (PS2)
Metal Slug (GBA)
SNK vs. Capcom Card Fighters (NDS)

Spoiler alert! (Not that most of us will ever play this game, anyway)
Fio attends her final year at the university along with the main character in the Days of Memories 2. For the first half of July she prepares for performance in the summer festival, and the other half for a new attraction that is to be performed at the Neo Geo Land.

Ending
She realizes that her father does indeed love her after thinking over the history of her family, but once again goes into mode of discord when she yells out "Soldier's job is to murder!".

The 10th-year anniversary site has been updated with history about Metal Slug 5 in their series section, as well as the gallery section which now contains artworks of Metal Slug 5.

As I've suspected before, here's something nifty; Slug Gunner is unlockable in Metal Slug 3D. Click the image below to watch a video (8:32 - 34MB) of it.



To unlock it, you must collect four special parts;

Core: Gunner Core
Caterpillar: Gunner Legs
Cannon: Gunner Cannon
Vulcan: Gunner Arms

Armor is irrelevant.

Unfortunately, it can't go into the tank mode. It can only walk and fly. (For like 2 seconds, anyway)

(3:55 - 16.1MB) Yep, I've gotten S ranks for all missions on all three difficulties, upgraded all of the characters, and unlocked all Slug parts.
