The Japanese section of the 10th-year anniversary site has been updated with goods section, which now contains information about the Metal Slug OST package, which now lists the included tracks within the albums and such. The gallery section has also been updated with illustrations gallery, which is completely different from the series gallery. And in the upcoming TGS2006, SNK will feature several Metal Slug games; Metal Slug Complete (PSP) Metal Slug 6 (PS2) Metal Slug Soldiers (Mobile) Metal Slug Survivors (Mobile) The Side Story of Metal Slug ~Allen's Battle Chronicles~ (Mobile) Metal Slug (?) |

| 10th anniversary site update & OST collection notice |
The Japanese section of the 10th-year anniversary site has been updated with new contents in their gallery section, which contain more images from Metal Slug. The English section has been updated both the series and gallery sections that now contain history and images from Metal Slug X.  And SNK Playmore finally clears up the issue with the soundtracks included in the OST collection. Metal Slug 3D OST will be included. This is actually a 9 CD package. The arrange/unused bonus CD will be the 9th disc. All other information still remains the same. |

The Japanese section of the 10th-year anniversary site has been updated with new contents in their series and gallery sections, which now contain information about Metal Slug 3D and poster images of Metal Slug 4, respectively. On the other hand, the English section has been updated with information about Metal Slug 2 under the series section and character profiles of Fio and Eri under the characters section. |

For those of you who are curious about the "unused soundtrack album", it's just like what it sounds like. It will contain soundtracks that were created during the development phase but were never used in the game. Sounds exciting, eh? And, as stated before, TONKO will be responsible for "exclusive" illustrations that were never featured in Metal Slug games and are only available in this package. The 32-page booklet containing commentaries and unreleased information from the composers will also be included. The package seems as if it will only be sold in Japan. The biggest concern here is that this will be a limited print collector's edition, meaning that it won't be printed ever again after they have finished with the initial production. The price is set for 13,440 yen, or $117USD. The release date is September 6th, 2006. |

The Metal Slug 10th-year official site is now also in English as well. The English section doesn't have much at the moment like its Japanese counterpart, but that will change soon. Oh, and, the Japanese section has been updated with several new things in its series, character, and gallery sections. |
